So Long Davey formed in 2007 by lead singer David Vaughn and guitarist James Austin in San Diego, California. In five years they have been featured on MTV Buzzworthy, Alternative Press Magazine, Substream Music Press, and iHeartRadio where their song “Six Feet Down” stayed in the #1 spot for a monstrous 10 weeks in 2011.

So Long Davey's most recent hot buzz comes the new Sony PlayStation 3 game, 'Emo Ray VS The Intergalactic Teddy Bears', in which the band provided the music! The 'Emo Ray' Soundtrack has already hit #1 on Purevolume.com with the most downloads upon the game's launch.

So Long Davey pulls sound and stage influences from Jimmy Eat World, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury and The Beatles. They've been a crowd favorite opening for several tours including Vans Warped Tour and support for Unwritten Law, Plain White T's, and Steel Panther. 

The band's latest self-release is 'The Real Houseboys of Beverly Hills', their first full length album includes the songs "6AM (In My Room)", "Fever", and "Making Out", produced and engineered by Kyle Black (Neon Trees, Spilt Canvas, Paramore).
